COMMON CONCERNS

Skin laxity and hydration

Due to TGA guidelines we are unable to display specific cosmetic treatments. All information can be disclosed face to face, in-clinic. Please book a consultation to discuss your concerns, potential treatments, outcomes and view patient results.

As we age, the moisture presence within our skin naturally reduces with age and the natural elasticity and firmness of the skin therefore declines.

As most people reach their 30’s they begin to see the effects of this collagen and elastin depletion, these are the cells that give skin its structure and firmness. We need to address underlying structural changes and replenish lost nutrients and moisture.

INFORMATION

  • Dry or dehydrated skin can result from factors such as environmental conditions (e.g., cold weather, low humidity), lifestyle habits (e.g., excessive sun exposure, smoking), skincare products, aging, and certain medical conditions. It occurs when the skin lacks sufficient moisture and natural oils to maintain hydration.

  • Collagen stimulation refers to the process of promoting the body's natural production of collagen, a protein that provides structural support and elasticity to the skin. Collagen is abundant in the skin, helping to maintain its firmness, smoothness, and youthful appearance. However, collagen production naturally declines with age, leading to skin laxity, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.
